About the job:
Kent is looking for a Procurement Specialist, to support ongoing workshare projects.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage contracts and agreements for contracted services, identifying potential risks or issues before they become major issues and ensuring that all contracts are fulfilled in scope, time, and money.
- Validate progress, payments and deliveries. through minutes of agreement signed by the parties.
- Ensure, with the support of the engineering area, that the services delivered meet the established characteristics and the requested quality.
- Ensure that all administrative functions are completed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Ensure contractors have all documents up to date, including training, certifications, and work permits so they can enter job sites.
- Concerns and Requirements of External Clients: Attend to the concerns and requirements presented by the company's external clients, related to the contractual processes, receiving and providing solutions to the concerns and requirements, with the aim of expediting the provision of services and compliance with the project.
- Respond in a timely manner to the requirements to subcontract studies or services by the projects.
- Service Contracting Process: Ensure the evaluation of bids and proper selection of subcontractors.
- Keep updated, validated and qualified, the list of subcontractors for each service that is required, including monitoring of residual capacity.
- Manage and monitor compliance of contractors in all matters related to HSE, Administrative, Social and Quality.
- In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
- Professional in administrative or engineering careers.
- Diploma in project management, general insurance, negotiation techniques, standards.
- Intermediate/Advanced English is Mandatory.
Communication:
- Excellent command of the Spanish and English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

- Knowledge of the contract and its essential elements. Contractual path: Pre-contractual, Contractual and Post-contractual stages.
