Kent is looking for a Senior English as a Second Language (ESL/EOSL) Instructor – with 6 + years experience

Responsibilities:


The Senior ESL/EOSL Instructor will lead the delivery of English language training within a major workforce development and education project in Saudi Arabia. The role combines classroom instruction with academic leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior instructors, supporting curriculum implementation, and ensuring instructional quality across the program.

The Senior Instructor will play a key role in maintaining international teaching standards, driving learner performance, and supporting the successful achievement of project KPIs and client expectations.

Instructional Delivery
• Deliver advanced English language instruction across foundation and vocational training programs
• Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and technical English modules
• Prepare and adapt lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives
• Conduct formative and summative assessments


Academic Leadership
• Mentor and coach ESL instructors and teaching staff
• Support instructor onboarding and classroom observations
• Assist in maintaining instructional quality standards
• Support curriculum enhancement and instructional improvement initiatives
• Contribute to academic reporting and performance reviews


Student Support
• Monitor student progression and intervention requirements
• Support examination readiness for IELTS, TOEFL, or workforce competency standards
• Promote student engagement and retention


Compliance & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records and reporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures and client requirements
• Support audits, inspections, and accreditation requirements where applicable

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
• English
• Education
• Applied Linguistics
• TESOL
• Or other English-related field

Teaching Certification
Recognized ESL/EFL certification required, including one or more of:
• CELTA
• DELTA
• TESOL
• Trinity CertTESOL
• Equivalent internationally recognized qualification

Language Requirements
Native English speaker

Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in:
• LMS platforms
• Smart learning technologies
• Virtual instruction platforms
• Microsoft Office applications
• Digital assessment tools


Communication:
• Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

Behavior/ Core Competencies:

• Minimum 6–8 years of English language teaching experience
• Minimum 2 years in a senior, lead, or supervisory instructional role preferred
• Experience within large-scale international education or vocational training programs preferred
• Previous GCC or Saudi Arabia experience highly desirable
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Experience in vocational English or ESP (English for Specific Purposes)
• Strong cross-cultural communication capability
• Ability to work effectively within large multinational project teams
• Strong reporting and documentation skills

Additional Preferred Experience
Experience supporting programs related to:

• Oil & Gas
• Industrial skills training
• Technical and vocational education (TVET)
• Workforce nationalization initiatives
• Foundation year programs
