Kent is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong AI Engineer to join the Kent AI Program based in India. This role will support the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions designed to empower Kent employees, enhance project delivery efficiency, improve engineering workflows, and deliver added value to our clients across the energy sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end AI solutions including AI agents, workflow automation, LLM-powered applications, intelligent user interfaces, and scalable AI architectures. The role requires a strong balance between software engineering, AI/ML implementation, architecture thinking, and practical business problem-solving within EPC/EPCM environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions supporting Kent’s global AI strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop intelligent AI applications including:
o AI Agents
o Multi-agent systems
o AI copilots
o Workflow orchestration solutions
o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications
o Conversational AI platforms
o Engineering knowledge assistants

• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable AI architectures and technical solutions.
• Develop intuitive and modern AI-powered user interfaces and dashboards for engineering and operational users.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, engineering tools, document management systems, and project delivery platforms.
• Support implementation of AI solutions across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations workflows.
• Build and optimize AI pipelines including data ingestion, contextualization, vectorization, semantic search, and reasoning workflows.
• Collaborate with digital engineering, software development, and business teams globally.
• Support AI governance, model monitoring, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Participate in prototyping, innovation workshops, proof-of-concepts, and productization activities.
• Contribute to Kent’s AI products, frameworks, accelerators, and reusable AI components.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

• Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on AI solution development.
• Demonstrated track record delivering complete AI solutions from concept to production deployment.
