Project Engineer, Kent Engineers & Constructors Inc., Corpus Christi, TX:

Perform project engineering on small projects or portions of larger projects. Provide project engineering support for various industrial capital, maintenance, and environmental projects for multiple clients. Coordinate the various engineering, engineering constructions liaison, technical purchasing aspects, technical scheduling activities, and start-up aspects of a project(s). Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering portion of a project(s) across all disciplines. Ensure all project engineering activities are implemented in a manner consistent with client's core values delivering superior safety, quality, schedule and cost performance. Review process flow diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, and design and technical engineering documents. Research and review environmental technical standards to ensure projects meet the prevailing environmental guidelines, policies, and formal regulations.


Telecommuting permitted up to 15%.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline and 6 years of work experience.

Must have 6 years of experience in the following:

  • Project engineering on small projects or portions of larger projects;
  • Coordinating the various engineering, engineering constructions liaison, technical purchasing aspects, technical scheduling activities, and start-up aspects of a project;
  • Overseeing the technical excellence of the engineering portion of a project across all disciplines; and
  • Ensuring all project engineering activities are implemented in a manner consistent with clients’ core values.
