Details / responsibilities

  • To assess, undertake and deliver work scopes related to mechanical asset integrity.
  • Identify and create corrosion loops.
  • Identify damage mechanism and create corrosion control documents.
  • Identify and integrity operating windows and create Integrity management plans.
  • Perform RBI assessments and workshops.
  • Perform effective review of inspection data, results trending and remnant life assessments, perform fitness-for-service assessments and provide recommendations for repair and replacement methodologies.
  • Development, improvement & management of Asset Integrity Management(AIM) database tool/software
  • Use of advanced analytics to perform assessments.
  • Liaise with clients’ engineering, construction and operations personnel to ensure that all project requirements have been addressed.
  • Perform all work in accordance with the Quality Management System and within agreed time and schedule constraints.


Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
  • Strong technical experience in pressure plant integrity and experience in API580/581 and AS3788
  • Strong technical experience in fitness for purpose to API 579
  • Strong understanding of materials & corrosion mechanism in oil & gas.
  • Experience in RBI optimization and workshops
  • Thorough understanding of NDT techniques and in-service application of NDT
  • Proficient with scripting languages like Python/R and database management languages (SQL/mySQL)
  • Experience in using cloud-based integrity software to manage the asset integrity.
  • Good understanding and experience of CMMS systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the oil and gas industry for asset integrity and brownfield projects.
  • Good understanding of the constraints and priorities inherent in Brownfields scopes to minimise production downtime whilst maintaining asset safety and integrity.
  • Demonstrated skills in interfacing with established and new clients. Ability to identify new opportunities for the business and contribute actively to business development activities.
  • Demonstrated systematic and methodical approach to problem solving with attention to detail. Demonstrated initiative and lateral thinking skills in developing solutions and in the methodologies employed.
  • Familiar with project execution and regulatory issues
  • Good working knowledge of industry codes and standards
  • Participate in the development of other employees.
  • Technical writing skills are well developed. Basic presentation skills for small groups.
  • Demonstrated effective communication with operations personnel and client representatives
