About the Job:
Kent is looking for a Group Financial Data Analyst. As a Group Financial Data Analyst at Kent, you will be an integral part of our finance team and will be instrumental in financial planning, reporting, and analysis within a multinational environment. The role will work with large datasets, ensure data accuracy, and leverage tools like EPM and Smart View to generate insights that drive business decisions.
The job holder will report directly to the Group FP&A Manager and will also interact extensively with the Finance and other operational team in the business.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Support budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate data input and maintenance.
• Utilize EPM and Smart View for financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models in Excel or other tools to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, missing values, and errors to ensure accuracy.
• Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and KPI tracking to support financial insights.
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Streamline recurring reports and enhance data workflows through automation.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in financial reporting

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
• Minimum 3 years in Finance, Big 4 experience or MNC is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) or actively pursuing certification
Communication:
• Strong ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholder
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a multinational environment
Core Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong logical reasoning and functional expertise.
• Experience with EPM and Smart View for extracting and analyzing financial data.
• Prior experience in Engineering & Construction or a multinational corporate environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools for reporting and visualization (preferred).
