The Opportunity:
Kent are looking for experienced (Insert Position Title) to join our high performing team on Shell's QGC business in the Surat Basin! This is an ideal role for residents of the local area or who reside in Brisbane. The work roster is 15 days on 13 days off, 10 hours per day.
Responsibilities:
• Execute / perform Project scope construction tasks and preservation activities on plant and
equipment, safely and effectively, and provide technical assistance, as
required, to the Upstream Brownfields Projects Construction Supervisor/Team management.
• Support the Upstream Brownfields Projects team through advice and recommendations on improvements in Project construction planning and execution.
• Inspect, test, adjust and repair equipment (including to Hazardous area equipment) to satisfy appropriate governing standards.
• Pre commissioning ELV checks on instrumentation (For E&I Technicians)
• ELV isolations and fault finding on instrumentation and ELV systems (For E&I Technicians)
• Provide technical advice on all instrumented and electrical equipment.
• Assist in equipment performance checks
• Work within OEM guidelines.
• Demonstrate high-quality fault-finding skills and the ability to troubleshoot
autonomously.
• Interpret Construction drawings
• Input to design change implementation
• Participation in HAZOP & HAZID reviews
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Causal Learning
Our ideal candidate will have a Electrical Trade qualification and a White Card, supported by strong computing skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems such as Maximo. You will demonstrate a sound understanding of industry standards and functional assurance processes and be capable of constructively challenging and negotiating with peers, partners and contractors to drive improvements.
