About the job:
Kent is recruiting a Communications Administrator to join our global Corporate Communications and Advocacy team on a fixed term basis (6 months maternity leave cover).
This role sits at the heart of a busy, high-performing global communications function and plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth delivery of both internal and external communications activity.
You will support the team across a range of core channels, including our internal intranet, Frank, our external social media platforms, and our company website. You will help ensure that content is accurate, consistent, well-presented and delivered on time, while also supporting reporting, audits and day-to-day coordination.
This is a role for someone who enjoys organisation, takes pride in detail, and wants to build a strong foundation in corporate communications. You will work closely with experienced specialists across internal communications, external communications and digital, gaining exposure to a wide range of activities and opportunities to develop your skills over time.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Internal Communications
- Develop and format basic internal content to support wider team activity, ensuring clarity and consistency
- Proof-read, upload and maintain content across internal channels in line with brand and tone of voice
- Coordinate and support global internal virtual meetings and townhalls, including scheduling, preparation of materials, managing logistics, and assisting with live delivery
- Support the upkeep and day-to-day management of the internal intranet, Frank, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and aligned with business priorities
- Assist with internal communications audits, reviewing content and identifying gaps or opportunities for improvement
- Support the preparation of internal communications reports, including gathering data and helping track performance
External Communications
- Proofread and publish content across external social media channels, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines
- Manage and engage with Kent’s online community in line with established community management guidelines
- Support the scheduling and coordination of social media activity
- Publish new content and edit existing content on the company website using content management systems
- Help ensure website content remains current, consistent and aligned with business messaging
Communications Operations & Coordination
- Support the day-to-day coordination of communications activity across the global team including dairy and scheduling, travel and logistics, document management and vendor co-ordination
- Assist with tracking deliverables, deadlines and outputs across campaigns and projects
- Support reporting and analytics by gathering data from digital channels and platforms
- Help maintain shared content libraries, templates and documentation
- Provide general content formatting and administrative support to the communications team
- Manage team inboxes and requests triage

These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization.
