This role will see you working in the Surat Basin, Queensland and is available to residents of the local area or residing in Brisbane. This work is on a family friendly roster of 15 days on, 13 days off, working 10 hours per day!

Purpose & Accountabilities:

• Carry out wellsite activities related to the operations of wells and the associated gathering systems including
  • Wellsite surface equipment / gathering network maintenance;
  • Site preparation for third party work;
  • Routine monitoring of well performance; and
  • Production reporting.
• Work with a strong focus on production and optimization of the wells within your area
• Inspect and maintain well sites, wellheads and valves, ensuring well site gathering system vegetation control and general tidiness.
• Collect and collate information from wells and gathering systems
• Coordinate logistic support (transport, materials, etc.) for well site production activities.
• Maintain operational support for emergency response equipment as required

Skills & Requirements

• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Security and the Environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A collaborative team-focused outlook
• Basic computer skills;
• Competent in demonstrating initiative and exercising sound judgements.
• Willingness to learn.

Highly Regarded Experience:

• Certificate III in Process Plant Equipment;
• Previous operation and maintenance of well site equipment;
• Gas engines, hydraulic motors and pumps awareness;
• Basic instrumentation and measuring principles and practices.
