About the role:
We are on the lookout for the brightest structural engineering student to join our team in Perth. This paid Internship Program is a structured framework, designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to kick start your early career. The program features core training modules, professional development, mentoring and on-the-job experience.
The successful engineering student applicant will join a vibrant team in the Energy Industry and contribute to all aspects of structural engineering and design while working on real structural projects. You will have an abundance of learning opportunities to develop your skills and have experiences to support the delivery of innovative solutions to our clients.
This is a part time opportunity around your studies offering between 1 & 3 days per week.
Education and Skills
  • Within the last year of obtaining a degree in Structural or Civil
  • Strong scores in Structural Analysis, Applied Mechanics, and Strength of Materials
  • Has an interest in the Energy Industry
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of structural behaviour and applied mechanics.
  • Demonstrate a solid foundation of fundamental mathematics, logical thought process and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work within a collaborative and inclusive team environment with strong interpersonal and team building skills.
To be eligible, it is essential that you are available to commence immediately, be within your final year of your degree and have working rights in Australia. You must submit a 1-page cover letter, your resume and latest transcript.
