About the job:

An integral part of the project engineering team, and based at a client site in Fort MacMurray, AB the candidate will perform various project assignments requiring general familiarity with project management work and coordinate the activities of various disciplines on a Tailings project for our client and have a specialty in piping and/or mechanical type disciplines.

Your responsibilities:

• The functional responsibilities of the successful candidate will be as follows: Developing, approving and coordinating work schedules to ensure safety, cost, quality and time objectives are met
• Investigating, advising and resolving project problems at the site
• Develop guidelines and initiate investigations
• Managing RFIs; Act as Liaison between Client, Contractor, and Engineering office to get the answer of RFIs in a timely manner.
• Establishing and maintaining client contacts
• Attend toolbox talks and safety meetings as required.
• Providing technical guidance to co-workers
• Attending projects critical meetings as required and reconciling all the comments
• Helping Project manager to monitor and control the project budget and schedule

• Safety Training:Candidates will undergo all required safety training, including WHMIS.
• All required personal protective safety equipment will be provided by Kentz Canada except CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots with elevated heel.

Accommodations at the camp will be provided by the client, including flights from Edmonton or Calgary to the work site for rotation.
