Digital Tools Developer

Your responsibilities:

  • As part of an integrated Project Controls team, work in sprints to fast track the development and deployment of digital tools to support large scale construction and commissioning projects in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Work closely with Project Controls management and site-based users to understand customer requirements and tailor digital solutions accordingly.
  • In tandem with Kent IT, define scope and specifications of IT infrastructure required to support technology stack.
  • As part of an integrated Project Controls team, have the flexibility to work on ad hoc exercises if and when the project demands a digital solution.
  • Work closely with site-based Project Controls personnel to continuously improve the digital tools deployed.
  • Coach / F2F training end users in how t use digital tools deployed.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Qualification/ Certification:

1. College Degree, Bachelor Degree or Master in IT, Software Engineering or any Engineering field.

2. Any certificates regarding the proposed technology stack a bonus.

Skills Requirement:

Proven proficiently in some or all the following (or indeed similar) and tasks:

1. Sharepoint Administration

2. Power App development for front end user interface / data input

3. SQL / Access backend development to run data models

4. Power BI dashboarding / data visualization

Skills in similar tools in data collection and management is advantageous (e.g. PowerPivot, tableau, Microsoft suite etc)


1. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact in a team-based environment.

2. Software troubleshooting skills.

3. Demonstrate safe work ethic.

4. Ability to locate to Atyrau for work sprints and be available to travel to Tengiz as projects require.

5. Ability to work over-time and extended periods of time.

6. Adhere to all Company Safety and Health Policies.
