Skills and Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

Quality Surveillance and Assurance:

  • Develop and implement Quality Surveillance strategies, processes, and procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of QS systems and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain department to develop company specific / project specific Approved Vendor List
  • Review Manufacturer’s Pre qualification document
  • Assess manufacturer on their capability
  • Propose Inspection requirements for equipment packages based on client requirement
  • Review manufacturer’s Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
  • Compile Inspection Assignment Packages (IAP) for client review
  • Conduct regular manufacturer’s audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues.
  • Ensure that all QA documentation is up-to-date and accurately maintained.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
  • Define Criticality rating and Inspection Levels as per the contract or client reequipment


Quality Control:

  • Oversee QC activities, including inspections, tests, and measurements of products and processes.
  • Develop and implement QC plans and procedures for various stages of production.
  • Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Investigate and resolve product quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Maintain QC records and prepare reports on quality performance.
  • Liaise with Inspectors , Expedtors Clients and Manufacturer’s on inspection related activities
  • Issue Release for Shipping certificate to manufacturer based on inspections
  • Conduct Inspections per ITP
  • Deploy inspectors or Third Party Agencies for factory inspections


Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Keep abreast of changes in quality standards and regulations and update QA/QC processes accordingly.
  • Represent the company during external audits and inspections.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and customers on quality-related matters.
  • Develop Quality Surveillance & Inspection (QS&I) procedure for the Company as part of Supply Chain management
  • Conduct Vendor’s performance assessment

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in QA/QC processes and systems.
  • Lead initiatives to improve product quality and process efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.


Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • Ensure QA/QC activities comply with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Promote a safe working environment and participate in HSE audits and inspections.


In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.


Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:


Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field


Communication:

  • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
  • Professional certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is preferred


Behavior/ Core Competencies:


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards (e.g., API, ISO).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.


HSSEQ:


The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the governing authorities of the host country.
