The project included upgrading and refurbishment of the existing marine jetty, construction of 5 x 155 Km³ full containment LNG storage tanks, 15 submerged combustion vaporizers (SCV’s) and a new pipeline expansion of the National Grid. The LNG is delivered to the terminal in 14 new LNG tankers direct from the world’s largest gas field in Qatar. The new LNG tankers are 70% larger than any tanker in the current world fleet.
Kent provided supervisors, completions and commissioning engineers, technicians and database engineers, responsible for driving the project scope of work to completion.
