Scope of Work:

A senior planner plays a crucial role in project management and execution. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and strategies to ensure that the projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Deliverables:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and define project scope.
  • Create and maintain project schedules using project management software.
  • Monitor and update schedules regularly to reflect project progress and changes.
  • Identify and allocate resources required for project execution.
  • Work closely with project managers and department heads to ensure resource availability.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project plans and progress to stakeholders, including management and project teams.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to discuss project status, issues, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cost estimators to develop project budgets.
  • Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures.
  • Ensure that projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices in project planning and execution.

Key Deliverables:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, project management, etc.).
  • Significant experience in project planning within the oil and gas industry.
