About the role:

The basic function of the Senior HSSE is to ensure implementation of Kent IMS HSSE management system on project to Government, Client and Company requirements and ensure the effectiveness of implementation to achieve HSSE objectives and targets.
The Senior HSSE Advisor will work in collaboration with Project management and the wider team to maintain high standards of HSSE, comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements, take reasonable care of one’s own health and safety and that of others in the workplace whilst following and maintaining Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality system requirements.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the implementation of the company IMS HSE Management System withing project
• Perform onsite inspection on company and contractor workgroups as per the schedule
• Ensure HSE inductions are carried out for all workers
• Maintain accident/incident record for on-site and off-site accidents. Report off-site accident to HR and Finance department for fulfilling necessary legal and insurance formalities
• Participate in and lead accident/incident investigation and reporting as necessary. Ensure effectiveness of corrective actions
• Advise/guide project management on selection, maintenance and inventory of personal protective equipment
• Ensure adequacy and readiness of first aid facilities and trained first aiders onsite
• Participate in assessment of subcontractors to ensure proper selection and compliance with Kent HSE rules and regulations by subcontractors on projects
