About the job:

Kent is recruiting a Senior Buyer / Procurement Lead based in Saudi Arabia.

Qualification/ Certification:

Graduates or High school Diploma

Skills Requirement:

  • Commit Orders on a timely basis
  • Ensure that all documentation is approved during purchasing process.
  • Be aware of project approved budgets for items being purchased and target achieving
  • these budgets as a minimum.
  • Assist in expediting materials to site if required.
  • Ensure that all major orders for Projects are based on project approved payment terms.
  • Negotiate Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
  • Assist in the preparation of the project procurement plan or prepare a draft plan for review
  • by the Project Procurement Manager.
  • Ensure full commitment to the implementation of the IMS Procedures.
  • Prepare, issue and expedite inquiry packages.
  • Review vendor bids and prepare commercial bid tabulations.
  • Assist in the disposal of excess materials from the project.
  • Liaise with vendors in resolving disputed deliveries.
  • Negotiate subcontract prices where applicable.
