This position is for an experienced Security Engineer to join Kent’s Digital Technologies function. The digital space at Kent is spread across the globe and tightly integrated with On-premises, Cloud, and Hybrid systems. The successful candidate will join the Global Digital Workplace Engineering Team, and will be placed in Mumbai, India.


The company is undergoing a major acquisition, which includes a global scale IT Infrastructure Migration and Consolidation. This role will work closely with the Integrations Management Office and professional services partners to discover, assess, and scope out the Infrastructure System that need to be migrated and consolidated. This Security Engineer will hold a key role throughout the project and continue to support BAU with Global Digital Workplace Engineering Team


Key responsibly of role include but not limited to


  • Deliver expertise in global network and systems security operations on on-premises, cloud, and hybrid solutions.
  • Identify and define security requirements with stake holders and external partners.
  • Provide Microsoft 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Data classification and leakage protection, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
  • Maintain a global secure modern workplace by performing security monitoring, incident management and work on resolution of alerts and events.
  • Design and implement minimum-security baseline standards for security devices within the technology environment (IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPN, operating systems, BYOD, etc.)
  • Participate in ongoing security strategy discussions and architecture/ design workshops.
  • Review and audit solution implementation by professional service partners.
  • Perform security assessments and governance checks for all technology aspects ensuring critical security systems and controls remain effective and available.
  • Maintain global information Security standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines documents.
  • Work closely with the team for the implementation of components such as intrusion detection/prevention, data leakage prevention, content filtering, firewall compliance and vulnerability.
  • Audit all networks, systems, and endpoints to make sure security policies and guidelines are applied.
  • Maintain a comprehensive enterprise information security and risk management program.
  • Drive technology innovations through continuous learning and research.
  • Have clear understanding of IAM roles and RBAC.
  • Work in a ITIL based Global IT Service Management team and respond to requests as per SLA


Qualification/ Certification:

  • ITIL v3/4 Foundation
  • CISSP/CCSP
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • MS-101: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security


Skills Requirement:

  • Microsoft 365 Security
  • Enterprise security architecture, Vulnerability assessment, Defense in depth, SDLC, Identity and access management, Risk management, Endpoint protection, End-user awareness, Networking concepts (routing, design, TCP/IP), ISO 27001/27002, NIST 800-53, Web services security.
  • WAF, SIEM, FAM, DLP, Splunk, API Security and various other tools.
  • Experience on Firewall, SSL VPN, Content filtering, IPS/IDS, DDOS, MPLS

Number of years post qualification experience: 5-8 years of experience in a large enterprise environment (3000+users).
