Scope: EPCm 

The ultimate objective of DP83 project is to install refrigeration and export facilities at BGC’s Umm Qasr facilities including the related auxiliaries and utilities to enable fully refrigerated propane and butane export through Very Large Gas Carrier Vessels and condensate export through Oil Tankers through Jetty 2.

The Project aims to deliver fully refrigerated propane and butane export capability at the Umm Qasr terminal through the installation of new LPG refrigeration and condensate handling facilities. The Project scope includes New Refrigeration Package, Refrigeration Trains C &amp; D, Balance of Plant (BOP) systems, utility integration, and interface works with existing infrastructure.

The overall Project scope is split between the Out-of-Country and In-Country parts:

The Out-of-Country scope includes, but is not limited to:

- Project Management and Project Controls
- Detailed Designed and Engineering
- Procurement of project equipment and materials
- Logistics and Materials Management
- Subcontracting activities, including but not limited to Safety Workshops, Third Party Studies, Third Party Inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing
- Quality Management
- Construction and Commissioning Management support to In-Country team
- Construction Work Packs Development

The In-Country scope includes, but is not limited to:

- Field Engineering
- In-country Procurement and Materials Transportation
- Logistics, Customs Clearance and Materials Management
- Subcontracting activities and Management of Client’s Servicing Contractors
- Quality Assurance and Quality Management
- HSSE Management
- Construction Management
- Commissioning Management
