About the Job:
The Project Management Coordinator is a role responsible for managing and coordinating activities and tasks on small value projects. As a member of the projects team the Project Management Coordinator will work closely and communicate effectively with the engineering discipline(s) responsible for delivering the small scopes. The role also interfaces with other business functions, Kent management and (when required) client representatives to ensure the company’s reputation for high quality products and services is maintained.
Supported by the existing Project Delivery team, the Project Management Coordinator will use existing operating processes used to complete projects. They will support in project proposal development, and be responsible for small project execution including setup, administration, reporting, coordination and close-out.
The Project Management Coordinator role is a progressive one that will lead to oversight and coordination of larger, more complex scopes once competency requirements are met.
For this role, you will either be a degree qualified engineer with 2 to 5 years experience, or in an existing project support role. Either way, you will want to have the opportunity to progress your Project Management journey and ultimately have the opportunity to work in the energy sector on some of Australia’s best projects. You will have skills in project and time coordination, leadership and interpersonal abilities, and flexibility to adapt to new systems and processes whilst finding solutions to work around any problems.
At Kent we consider all our people and partners as leaders in our approach to safety and sustainability. Your technical and management skills will be matched by your commitment to safety and the awareness of your responsibility to actively foster a team culture where everyone has the opportunity to raise concerns and is empowered to stop work if they feel it is not safe.
