Scope of Work:

The Piping Engineer will be part of a multi-discipline team working towards a shared goal to inspect, assess and provide recommendations that feed into the short- and long-term operational strategies for onshore O&G related infrastructure. Candidates will have robust knowledge and experience in their relevant discipline and will be able to make sound recommendations considering all relevant client/site/equipment/system data and historical information as applicable.


Key Requirements:

  • Onshore O&G facility knowledge and experience, specifically in the relevant engineering field of Piping
  • Experience of writing consultancy level technical reports
  • On site surveying and general visual inspection (GVI)
  • Survey/inspection report write-up, including recommendations for, and definition of, follow-up refined inspection requirements
  • Familiarity with specialist NDT/NII techniques and their applicability, limitations, pros & cons, etc.
  • Understanding of client Maintenance Management and Work Management Systems (MMS/WMS), e.g. SAP, Maixmo, etc.
  • Competent user of MS Office, including use of MS Teams as a centralised project storage location.
  • Knowledge of applicable equipment vendor OEMs, as well as suitable alternative solutions and options, where relevant.
  • Appreciation of cost estimating requirements to provide to cost estimation team for recommending remedial works and/or upgrade/replacement of relevant equipment and systems.
  • Understanding of equipment data sheets, expected operating parameters, service life and maintenance requirements as applicable.
