This year, we have published our first UK Gender Pay Gap Report, which shows that our median pay gap is 14.1%, lower than the UK pay gap in 2021 across all industries and lower than the average across the full UK energy sector, but still higher than the pay gap for the UK engineering sector as a whole. We've made progress towards achieving true gender equity by implementing a range of actions such as advertising all roles as flexible, part-time or remote, overhauling our promotion process to introduce fairness and transparency, and ensuring gender-diverse promotion panels for internal interviews. However, we still have more work to do. Gender pay gap reporting is an opportunity for us to measure our progress and review our actions and commitments, correcting course where necessary. In 2023, we’re committing to a global equal pay audit at Kent. We will take the principles of the UK gender pay gap reporting into all areas of our business, for all measures of diversity. Where we find unintentional bias or inequity in our processes, we are committed to taking action to correct it.
