FEED and detailed design services for Phases I, II and III for the Light Naphtha Disposition (LND) project at Port Arthur Refinery in Port Arthur, TX, USA
Following successful completion of the FEED for Phase II and III of the Light Naphtha Disposition (LND) project at TotalEnergies Port Arthur Refinery in Texas, Kent has been awarded the follow-on Detailed Engineering for both Phase II and III of the LND project.
Our continuing work at the refinery is a reflection of the hard work and dedication our team has poured into the execution and delivery of our FEED and detail design packages during the earlier phase of this project.
Our most recent scope of work consists of developing a detailed engineering package to debottleneck the saturated liquids (SATS) unit, including connecting new piping from the condensate splitter to the SATS unit, performing a cooling tower study, connecting a new power feed from the new SATS motor control center to the condensate splitter and implementing UOP Merox caustic regeneration modifications.
As one of the Total Group's six refining and petrochemicals platforms worldwide, the Port Arthur Refinery has a daily processing capacity of 238,000 barrels per day and is Total’s largest facility in the US. The refinery can process heavy crude oil, as well as lighter domestic crudes. It also has a dedicated unit to produce low-sulfur fuels, which reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
