Kent is seeking a highly experienced and technically authoritative Piping Principal Engineer to lead and support ongoing, complex industrial projects. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical backbone for piping stress analysis, material specification, and mechanical integrity, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and code-compliant engineering deliverables. This role requires a balance of senior technical expertise, team leadership, and effective client interface Skills and Responsibilities: - Contribute to the management of discipline scope & schedule. - Coordinate with our HVEC (High Value Engineering Center) overseas. - Provide technical guidance and direction to others in your area(s) of expertise. - Explore and suggest new approaches and concepts in design components. - Conduct plant site visits when needed. Perform job walks accordingly. - Independently perform most assignments, plan work, and meet deadlines without supervisor action. - Prepare and layout piping systems in conformance with applicable codes and design standards and produce required deliverables. - Ensure project piping deliverables are checked and meet industry, client, and company quality standards. - Coordinate survey request with survey group. - All other duties as assigned. - In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. Este puesto requiere un equilibrio entre experiencia técnica de alto nivel, liderazgo de equipo y una interacción eficaz con el cliente. **Competencias y responsabilidades:** - Contribuir a la gestión del alcance y el calendario de la disciplina. - Coordinarse con nuestro HVEC (Centro de Ingeniería de Alto Valor) en el extranjero. - Proporcionar orientación y dirección técnica a otras personas en sus áreas de especialización. - Explorar y sugerir nuevos enfoques y conceptos en los componentes de diseño. - Realizar visitas a las instalaciones de la planta cuando sea necesario. Llevar a cabo recorridos de obra según corresponda. - Realizar de forma independiente la mayoría de las tareas, planificar el trabajo y cumplir los plazos sin necesidad de intervención del supervisor. - Preparar y trazar sistemas de tuberías de conformidad con los códigos y normas de diseño aplicables, y elaborar los entregables requeridos. - Asegurarse de que los entregables del proyecto relacionados con las tuberías se revisen y cumplan con los estándares de calidad del sector, del cliente y de la empresa. - Coordinar las solicitudes de levantamiento topográfico con el equipo de topografía. - Cualquier otra tarea que se le asigne. - Además de las responsabilidades aquí enumeradas, es posible que se le pida al empleado que realice otras tareas puntuales según sea necesario o según las instrucciones del supervisor o la dirección.
