Onshore feasibility study and infrastructure validation support
Supporting the expansion of new ISBL
Location: Saudi Arabia
Operator: Confidential
Duration: 2024 – 2025
Scope: Feasibility study
Kent conducted a comprehensive feasibility study to assess the capability of existing OSBL (Outside Battery Limits) facilities to support the expansion of new ISBL (Inside Battery Limits) facilities. Our team evaluated the infrastructure, utilities, and operational capacities to identify potential gaps and optimisation opportunities. This in-depth analysis enabled informed, data-driven decisions on upgrading OSBL facilities to support future growth.
Scope:
- Assessment of feed, product, and utility demands for both ISBL and OSBL.
- Validation of existing capacities for pipe racks, substations, RIB, and control buildings to determine additional load accommodations.
- Gap analysis to identify infrastructure limitations and opportunities for optimisation.
- Cost-benefit analysis comparing upgrades of existing OSBL facilities versus building new infrastructure.
