About the job:
Kent is looking for a Senior Project Controls Specialist to maintain cost system, reporting, analysis and forecasting, change control and progress measurement on various engineering projects.
Your responsibilities:
Develop Project Cost Control Plan
Track Commitments and Expenditures against Original Budget, Current Budget, and Forecast
Develop Forecasts by identifying project trends, risks and opportunities and review with budget holders
Operate and manage project cost system
Lead the Change Management process
Develop project specific WBS/CBS structure and produce deliverables aligned with this structure
Communicate and present project results with management and other stake holders
Analyze monthly financial results
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
Minimum 5 years’ Project Controls experience within Oil & Gas Industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Finance, or Economics preferred
Effective communication, analytical and presentation skills required
Experience working within challenging Client Programs
Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPCm Projects
Stand Alone Projects and Programs
Scheduling & P6 experience preferred
Skills Requirement:
Proficient with Excel, and preferably PowerBI, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data
