About the job:

• Managing 15-20 direct reports- Project Managers / Engineers, Project Controls, Procurement and Administrative Assistant
• Managing interfaces between the client and Kent daily for new and existing projects, personnel issues, staffing requirements based on workload, processes, KPIs and general operational
• Communication / work with Kent Engineering Management to ensure objectives are being met at a program and project level
• Work with Program Director to provide operational guidance in-line with Kent and Client KPIs and goals
• Understand work processes and business needs / objectives to ensure alignment and update as required.
• Defining a right-sized organization to progress stewarded projects.
• Drive culture in-line with Kent’s / Client’s Culture and Procedures
• Lead the Project Management Team to deliver competitive projects.
  • Understand and drive the work to meet individual project objectives and priorities.
  • Ensure team activities are being progressed as necessary to achieve project objectives.
  • Lead teams towards solutions / define clear path-forward where there is ambiguity, regardless of disciplines involved. Otherwise, work to remove roadblocks / breakdown barriers (people, technical, and/or issues) preventing team from achieving objectives.
• Drive critical thinking and encourage / empower employees to make timely and effective decisions, innovate, and take measured risks.
• Understand and support workshare program (HVEC).
• Provide employee performance / career feedback

• 10+ years experience managing projects/client programs.
• Oil & Energy Sector experience. Downstream (Petrochem, Refinery) experience highly preferred.
• Engineering and/or Contruction project background ideal.
