Kent is seeking a Corporate HSEQ Manager to join our team in Perth. This is a key business support role and will be responsible for the delivery of all health, safety, environmental and quality matters across the business including project HSEQ support.

About the role:

You will be responsible for providing Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management, guidance and direction across our Australian corporate offices, project portfolio and tenders. You will help Kent maintain it’s safety driven culture and strive for continuous improvement.

  • Be the chief advocate of our strong safety and quality culture
  • Lead our project safety teams when required
  • Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve the HSEQ management systems and project/site specific HSEQ plans, procedural manuals, practices and reporting
  • Identify HSEQ initiatives to maintain and improve standards aligned with the global corporate strategy
  • Implement the strategic and operational approach for improving safety performance by developing and implementing HSE policies, plans and programs
  • Collaborate with and guide internal stakeholders to ensure HSEQ responsibilities are understood, embedded and successfully delivered
  • Assist in tender preparation for HSEQ requirements
  • Be responsible for the completion of internal and external audits including preparation, reporting and managing corrective and preventative action requirements
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes, reviewing and improving policies and procedures when required
  • Oversee quality control and assurance activities for projects
