About the Job: Kent has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Graduate Technical Safety Engineer to be Brisbane based but part of the global team which is spread across all major regions to deliver on our ongoing consultancy contracts to the major Oil & Gas and Future Energy Operators in Australia, APAC and globally. The Graduate Development Program is a three-year framework, designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to develop your early career and work towards a professional qualification. The program features a series of signature events, core training modules, professional development, mentoring and on-the-job experience. The successful Graduate applicant will join a vibrant team on the leading edge of Technical Safety Engineering and contribute to:
Formal Safety Assessments (FSAs) for example Dropped Object Studies & Quantitative Risk Assessments;
HAZID & HAZOP workshops;
Reliability & availability studies;
Loss prevention engineering;
Validation & verification scopes of work; and
Safety Case development.

To be eligible, it is essential that you have completed your bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management within the past two (2) years.
Demonstrate a sound understanding of risk management fundamentals is preferred
Demonstrate a solid foundation of fundamental mathematics, logical thought process and problem solving skills
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate an ability to work within a collaborative and inclusive team environment with strong interpersonal and team building skills.
