About the role:

The Financial Analyst will work within the Consulting Business providing support to the Business Director and the Portfolio Manager to deliver effective project outcomes in the areas of Finance performance and analysis; including cost management and reporting.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
  • Provide the business with cost and financial management and performance reporting
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  • Provide cost input, breakdown and analysis on estimates for project scopes.
  • Assist Project team addressing Client queries
  • Work with the Finance department to ensure project invoicing is timely and identify and help to resolve issues with late payments & cashflow.
  • Cost performance management & reporting across the Consulting portfolio

The successful Candidate will have –
  • BA, BS, or B.Com degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
  • 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred major fields
  • Familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects, Power Query / Power BI)
  • Oracle Finance system experience highly desirable
  • High proficiency in financial modelling techniques
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
