We are looking for an
experienced Lead SCADA Engineer is responsible to lead packages within digital SCADA project and coordinate activities to ensure successful project delivery This individual will have a deep understanding of SCADA technologies and will support the delivery of KENT digital projects in the region.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of SCADA project strategies and best practices across various projects in the oil & gas and renewables industries.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective integration of SCADA engineering solutions with other stakeholders within project scope boundaries.
- Leverage expertise in Wonderware, Rockwell, Yokogawa, Schneider etc. OEMs’ SCADA technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in KENT's digital projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the digital engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in SCADA & system domain, ensuring KENT remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for integrating SCADA technologies into existing processes and systems.
- Support business development efforts by contributing technical expertise to proposals and client presentations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices in all SCADA asset management activities.
- Act as a principal functional consultant with a focus on service delivery, customer success, software development life cycle, and software configuration for SCADA systems.
- Ensure compliance with the industry standards.
- Review and monitor project progress with stakeholders and end-user clients to ensure completion within the scheduled time and cost parameters.
- Adapt best practices and ensure project methodology compliance to engineering standard.
- Engage in pre-sales and post-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposed solution reviews internally and with clients, project scope and duration, schedule, and resource planning.

These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Instrumentation & Control or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Communication:- Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
Behavior/ Core Competencies:- A minimum of 8 years of experience in SCADA engineering, with a focus on.
- Proven expertise in Schneider, Yokogawa, ABB, Rockwell & Siemens SCADA technologies.
- Strong understanding of the oil & gas and renewables industries, including relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex SCADA projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and stay current with industry trends and developments.
- Previous engagement of SCADA Projects with ADNOC and Aramco.
