This project focused on establishing a robust digital engineering and project delivery framework for a major energy development project.

Kent delivered specialised digital consulting services to define the project's digital ecosystem, ensuring efficient data management, system interoperability, and future-ready digital integration throughout the asset lifecycle. The engagement established the foundations for a data-centric approach to project delivery, enabling greater consistency, collaboration, and long-term operational value.

Through the development of digital standards, governance frameworks, and integrated systems architecture, the project created a structured environment to support engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and eventual operations.

**Scope:**

- Define functional requirements to support engineering data management, document control, construction workflows, and asset information management
- Develop a digital class library to standardise engineering objects, attributes, and data structures across project disciplines
- Design an integrated systems architecture connecting engineering, project controls, document management, construction management, and asset information systems
- Establish data governance frameworks, naming conventions, and information standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability
- Develop a digital project execution strategy covering design, construction, commissioning, handover, and operations
- Define system integration points, data flows, and governance mechanisms to enable seamless interoperability across project delivery platforms
