About the job:

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Team Leader (Piping).


Your responsibilities:

  • To ensure work is completed on time, to a high standard and in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • To ensure that the contractors are implementing latest drawing revisions, specifications, and procedures.
  • Checking and signing off work.
  • To supervise the site supervisors according to job requirements.
  • To assist the site supervisor with the coordination of work from all disciplines as dictated by Project needs.
  • To plan workloads for Site Supervisors, and delegating work to team member
  • To provide feedback to Supervisors for achieved progress in different areas, provide technical direction and implement the project construction work processes, procedures, manuals and systems.
  • Working with technical drawings and plans.
  • Participate in Constructability reviews and studies to optimize design and propose modifications to engineering design and interpret drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to the Contractors.
  • Generate/support generation of Site Queries (SQY’s).
  • Make sure ITR’s are timely completed and submitted.
  • Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, sketches of completed work, material requirement calculations etc.
  • To promote and implement Client's and Company's HSE policies and requirements and to ensure all subordinates of him follow company policy and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all company statutory procedures, quality and safety standards including any defined recording and reporting procedures. Monitor and perform technical audits, in progress inspections, testing and surveillance activities to ensure that project quality requirements are being met.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Qualification/ Certification:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university

Communication:

  • Excellent oral and written communication and skills.

Core Competencies:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 10 years’ prior experience in Mechanical or Pipeline Projects and (5 years in Lead Role) in O&G Industry
  • Excellent leadership and communications skills
  • MS Office and applicable engineering software skills
