*Kent is looking for a Construction Coordinator to support the Saint John LNG Project in Saint John, New Brunswick. Reporting to the Superintendent, this role will support the coordination, planning, and execution of construction activities across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical.*

*The Construction Coordinator will work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure field activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, schedule, and quality requirements. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with hands-on experience coordinating contractors, managing field documentation, and supporting daily construction operations on large industrial projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating communication between project stakeholders, tracking construction progress, resolving field issues, and ensuring alignment between engineering deliverables and field execution.*

**Skills and Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities:**

- Coordinate daily construction activities across assigned project areas to support safe and efficient execution of field work.
- Assist the Superintendent with planning and scheduling construction work in alignment with the project schedule.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure construction activities are supported with approved drawings, materials, and documentation.
- Monitor construction progress and provide updates on schedule performance, potential delays, and field issues.
- Support constructability reviews and ensure engineering deliverables are aligned with field requirements.
- Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve field issues and maintain workflow continuity.
- Review construction work packages and ensure crews have the necessary documentation to perform assigned tasks.
- Track material deliveries, equipment availability, and field resources to ensure construction readiness.
- Participate in field walkdowns to verify installation progress, identify deficiencies, and confirm compliance with project specifications.
- Assist with managing Requests for Information (RFIs), field change requests, and technical queries between construction and engineering teams.
- Coordinate inspections, testing activities, and quality verification processes with QA/QC teams.
- Support turnover and commissioning preparation by ensuring completion of construction documentation and punch list items.
- Participate in daily coordination meetings, toolbox talks, and construction planning sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of field progress, construction reports, and project documentation.
- Support implementation of project procedures, safety programs, and quality management systems.
- Assist with coordinating contractor work fronts to avoid conflicts between disciplines.
- Monitor site activities to ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with project standards.
- Provide logistical support related to site access, work permits, and construction sequencing.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

**Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience**

**Knowledge/Qualification/Training/Certification:**

- Trade Certification or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of construction coordination or field supervision experience on large industrial or energy infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on LNG, oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, or large energy infrastructure projects is considered an asset.
- Experience coordinating multi-discipline construction activities including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical scopes.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field execution, and contractor coordination.
- Familiarity with construction documentation including drawings, specifications, RFIs, work packages, and turnover documentation.
- Experience working with construction management systems and scheduling tools is considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple construction activities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience working on large EPC or EPCM project environments is considered an asset.

**Communication:**

- Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication.
- Strong communication and coordination skills when working with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
