The Opportunity:

Kent is looking for both a mechanical Commissioning Engineers & Completions Engineers to work on a local project ensuring that all the commissioning activities on the project are completed on time and in compliance with project requirements, procedures and plans.

These are both critical positions that will play an important role for the successful delivery of this project. These are local positions based south of the river, working Monday - Friday position.

As Commissioning Engineer -

• Provide commissioning input at design and construction stage so that pre-commissioning activities can commence early and the plant can be started up logically in a safe manner
• Ensure that commissioning and start-up issues are identified and resolved appropriately
• Assist projects in the identification of commissioning resource needs at key project phases
• Assess feasibility of project in relation to technical, financial and organization resources of the company in commissioning
• Maintaining good site relations to ensure continuity and repeat orders on a negotiated basis.
• Construct, develop and implement plans of action as required.
• Communicate and cooperate with project team members and other stakeholders to ensure effective sharing of information.
• Maintain standards of HSSE and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment.

As a Completions Engineer -

• Develop comprehensive completion plans and schedules, aligning them with project milestones and objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth execution of mechanical completion activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials required for mechanical completion.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of systems, equipment, and components during construction to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review and approve inspection and testing procedures and documentation, including test reports, data sheets, and quality control records.
• Maintain accurate records of mechanical completion activities, including inspection reports, testing results, and commissioning documentation.
• Generate progress reports, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
