Scope of Work

  • Work alongside Process Engineers to assess requirements for fuel switching combustion equipment.
  • Evaluate options for fuel switching, technology, and interaction with Suppliers.
  • Write Combustion Equipment Standards and Specifications for Project
  • Review technical proposals for Combustion Equipment modifications
  • Create Data Sheets, Setting Plans and Duty Specifications for Equipment
  • Technical activities involved with Requisitioning of Equipment
  • Vendor design review
  • Assistance during construction and commissioning

Key Requirements

  • Degree with membership of IChemE or IMechE preferred; will accept significant experience as substitute
  • Combustion Engineer with experience of rating and design of combustion equipment
  • The Engineer shall have selected, specified and engineered combustion equipment through projects from Design Phase to Purchase and Delivery
  • The Engineer should have experience of Commissioning of combustion equipment and boilers


Additional Information: Hybrid working available (remote working and based at client site in Stanlow)
