*Kent is looking for a Permit to Work (PTW) Lead to support the team on a multi-year project across multiple locations, beginning on the North Slope, Alaska. The successful candidate will lead the project PTW team and oversee the safe, consistent implementation of the PTW process through mechanical completion, static and dynamic commissioning, and facility start-up. Working closely with ISCT, Tier 1 contractors, the Project Management Team, Start-Up, and Operations, the Lead PTW will coordinate work authorization, manage permit interfaces, and ensure permit requirements and controls are effectively applied.*

**Skills and Responsibilities:**

**Responsibilities:**

· Lead and coordinate the project PTW team, establishing daily priorities, allocating responsibilities, and maintaining effective

coverage and handovers across project phases and site transitions.

· Oversee implementation of the client-approved PTW procedures and work authorization requirements, ensuring consistent

application by ISCT and Tier 1 contractor personnel.

· Lead permit planning and coordination meetings, aligning permit readiness with work schedules, system status, and

commissioning and start-up priorities.

· Oversee permit preparation, review, coordination, execution, suspension, revalidation, and close-out in accordance with client

procedures and designated authorization levels.

· Coordinate simultaneous operations (SIMOPS), identify conflicting activities and shared work areas, and agree required controls

with contractors, Start-Up, and Operations before work proceeds.

· Provide PTW leadership and technical guidance during mechanical completion, static and dynamic commissioning, energization,

and facility start-up, including changes in system custody and operating status.

· Coordinate with designated isolation and area authorities to verify that lockout/tagout, isolations, gas testing, and other required

safeguards are documented and implemented before work authorization.

· Lead PTW training, coaching, and competency assurance for ISCT, Tier 1 contractors, and PTW team members, ensuring

personnel understand and are competent to perform their assigned responsibilities.

· Act as the principal PTW interface with Tier 1 contractors, the Project Management Team, HSSEQ, Start-Up, and Operations;

resolve coordination issues and escalate matters beyond delegated authority.

· Identify and address unsafe permit conditions, initiate work suspension or stop-work action in accordance with project

procedures, and coordinate corrective action before work resumes.

· Plan and lead PTW audits and field assurance checks to verify procedural compliance, implementation of permit controls, and

permit-holder adherence; track findings and corrective actions to closure.

· Monitor permit workload, readiness, compliance trends, and outstanding issues; report PTW performance, risks, and resource

needs to project management and drive continuous improvement.

· Maintain accurate permit records and effective shift handovers, and coordinate PTW interfaces during systems handover and

transition to Operations.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

**Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:**

**Knowledge/Qualification/Training/Certification:**

· Minimum 10 years of project completion and operations experience, including substantial Permit to Work experience.

· Demonstrated experience leading or supervising PTW personnel and coordinating contractor work authorization on complex

energy projects.

· Demonstrated knowledge of the Enablon PTW system.

· Previous successful PTW experience during mechanical completion, commissioning, operations planning, and start-up.

· In-depth knowledge of project completion standards, specifications, codes, applicable safety criteria, and facility commissioning

and start-up operations.

· Strong knowledge of work authorization, permit lifecycles, isolation and lockout/tagout requirements, gas testing, and SIMOPS coordination. · Knowledge of client practices, processes, and expectations for work authorization and permitting during systems completion, preservation, commissioning, operations readiness, and planning. · Experience conducting PTW audits, delivering training, assessing competency, and managing corrective actions.

**Communication:**

· Excellent command of the English language, with strong oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to lead permit coordination meetings, communicate safety-critical requirements clearly, and resolve issues with

contractors, site personnel, and project leadership.

**Behavior/ Core Competencies:**

· Expert PTW technical skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to risk management.

· Demonstrated leadership, delegation, mentoring, and accountability for team performance.

· Strong understanding of work planning, scheduling, permit readiness, and progress tracking.

· Ability to prioritize competing work demands while maintaining required safety controls.

· Ability to build effective working relationships, resolve conflicts, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

· Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications and applicable permit tracking systems.

**HSSEQ:**

The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the

governing authorities of the host country.
