Kent's Wassim Ghadban, Senior Vice President of AI & Digital, will join the strategic panel "Agentic AI: From Pilot to the Next Era of Energy Autonomy" at Gastech on Wednesday 16 September at 12:00.

The discussion will explore the shift from AI systems that analyse and recommend to agentic AI capable of taking autonomous, multi-step actions in real time. As these technologies move from controlled pilots towards operational deployment across the energy industry, the panel will examine the practical questions surrounding human oversight, accountability and where the boundaries for autonomous decision-making should sit.

Drawing on Kent's experience applying AI and digital technologies across engineering and operations, Wassim will contribute to the discussion around how the industry can move agentic AI from experimentation towards responsible, practical deployment while maintaining the governance and human oversight required for critical energy infrastructure.
